On the 25th of March, we’re going to sing for the earth in Rotterdam during Earth Hour at the Erasmus bridge in Rotterdam. The lights on the bridge will be switched off during one hour to make a symbolic statement against climate change. I’ve composed the piece ‘Four Drifting Seasons’, based on data from changes in temperature since the nineteenth century. It will be sung via an app so that no preparation is needed in order to sing it. Afterwards, we’ll compose a piece on the spot, with our voices in the dark. Perhaps you’d like to join us? You can sign up to follow a workshop during the day or spontaneously join in in the evening. More information (in Dutch) can be found here, or you can email to marloes[at]twaalfhoven.net with your questions.
